Andrea Khalil is an Associate Professor at the City University of New York. As the 2012/2013 Fulbright Scholar in Tunisia, Andrea Khalil is continuing her on-going research project on political crowds in North Africa. She is author of the forthcoming book Crowds and Politics in North Africa: Tunisia, Algeria and Libya (London: Routledge, 2014).
