Justin B. Munyakazi (PhD) is a senior lecturer and postgraduate co-ordinator in the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at the University of the Western Cape. He is also a social activist and member of AMIS BK (Friends of Bukavu), a Not-for-Profit Organisation of social and developmental inclination based in the City of Cape Town. In 2012, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan on the U-M African Presidential Scholars program.
